Compare

Golf League Software, Compared.

Prices and features for the tools recreational leagues actually use, taken from each vendor’s own site and checked by someone who runs a league.

How these comparisons are done

These comparisons are written by the founder of LeaderBoard Caddie, and they say so up front. LeaderBoard Caddie sits in the same tables as the other tools, including the things it does not do yet, such as flighting and quota scoring. The goal is a fair picture for a league commissioner, not a ranking that always ends with the same winner.

Prices come from each vendor’s own site. Where possible, the comparison also comes from a hands-on test: set up a league, add a course, build a schedule, score a round, then fix a score afterward. The X4Golf comparison was written that way, with an eight-player, nine-hole league.

Every comparison looks at the same things a commissioner runs into: the yearly price and whether it is flat or per golfer, whether players have to download an app, how live scoring and the leaderboard work, which handicap methods are supported, how skins and payouts are handled, how hard it is to fix a score after the round, and how you contact players.

If you are still choosing between tools, start with Best Golf League Management Software in 2026, which covers six options side by side. If your league already uses X4Golf and you are wondering whether to move, read the X4Golf alternative comparison. Both end with a short guide to switching mid-season.
