(Adjusted Gross − Course Rating) × 113 ÷ Slope
The differential measures how you played relative to the difficulty of that course and tee. Adjusted gross caps each hole at net double bogey.
With 20 rounds, your index is the average of your best 8 differentials. With fewer rounds it uses fewer: 3 rounds counts the lowest one minus 2.0, and 6 rounds counts the lowest two minus 1.0. Only your most recent 20 rounds are used.
On an 18-hole tee, a nine-hole round uses half the rating and half the par with the same slope, and the differential is doubled so it sits alongside your 18-hole rounds.
This tracker uses WHS-style math for personal tracking. It does not apply course-condition adjustments, exceptional-score reductions or the soft and hard caps, so it can differ slightly from the index your club or GHIN shows.

Each round produces a score differential: (Adjusted Gross Score - Course Rating) x 113 / Slope. The index averages the best differentials from your most recent 20 rounds. With 20 rounds it uses the best 8. With fewer, it uses fewer differentials and sometimes an adjustment.
Three. The tracker shows an index after 3 rounds and refines it as you add more, up to your most recent 20.

Tap Download backup (CSV) to save your rounds to a file. On your next visit, or on a new phone or computer, tap Import CSV and choose that file. Your rounds come back and your index updates. Add new rounds, then download a fresh backup.
No. It uses WHS-style math for personal tracking and does not apply course-condition adjustments or score reviews, so it can differ slightly from an official index.
Playing in a league?
The tracker works off scores you type in. LeaderBoard Caddie collects them from players' phones as they play, applies handicap strokes from each player's index and tees, and has results ready before the last group walks off 18.
